About Me

Me, Myself, and I
Finished a three-year college course in Carpentry & Joinery back in 2006. Enjoyed but have since struggled to find the right job which suits me.

Just started (September '07) a Furniture Studies (Cabinet Making) course at the same college and I'm really enjoying that. It is something I would like to do but, realistically, it'd be very hard to find the right kind of work to make a decent living from it.

I'm also thinking about doing ANOTHER course in something like Illustration, or similar. I'm missing the artistic roots I had when I was at school... I do a lot of woodwork in my spare time because it's something I've found I enjoy. I would like to make more money from that somehow - but, all in good time.

If ever I do sort myself out and decide on what I want to do with my life (I reckon I'll be about 40 by then...) I'm desperate to get out and see some of the real world - Australia, Egypt, Japan, China, etc. I'd also consider emigrating at some point in my life.
Music
Pearl Jam, incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down, Deftones, Ataxia, John Frusciante, Velvet Revolver, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, etc.
Films
Fight Club, Sin City, Apocalypse Now, The Departed, The Matrix, Predator, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Hot Fuzz, Die Hard, the 'Bourne' series, etc...
Generally, films featuring Bruce Willis, Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey, Matt Damon and Kiefer Sutherland.
Sports
Man United fan. Also keeping an eye on Bristol City's progress.
Scared Of
LIFE!
Happiest When
Playing football, woodworking - whenever I'm not at work or stuck at home, bored out of my brains.
Things I'd like to do
As mentioned further up, I'd like to find a 'career' I am happy with as well as starting to see more of the big wide world.
TV
24 has long been the best thing to happen to TV, in my personal opinion. I was dissapointed with Day 6 though.
I've since fallen in love with Heroes since that came to BBC and I'm eagerly awaiting series two!
Lost is the other one that really gets my attention - although, I cannot stand how much they dragged it out! "Today, John, we're going to see Jacob." "...It's three-days-later and, we still haven't left yet!"
I did like Sleeper Cell when that was on and I'm sorry to say I lost touch with The 4400 when the second series came to Sky. Still need to check out Prison Break.
