Tagline: I - I wasn't sober...and you told me...
Me, Myself, and I: I love stories; films, books or games. Books happen to be easily portable, but my unlimited card and I have seen every film that's currently out.

I do some copywriting in my spare time, and I also write film, book and game reviews. I don't post these on a blog - I don't HAVE a blog - I submit them to dedicated review sites. I see all writing as a chance to improve, and with no independent quality control, how is that possible?

I usually write short stories, but lately, one of them has just kept growing. It's called Twenty Thousand Dollar Bills, and is currently around 57,000 words. I'm aiming to complete it by my twentieth birthday, next August - then, I guess, we'll see what happens.

Please do not ask me to 'share the love' or however you choose to spell it. I never once claimed to be a nice person, and I especially don't do it just for the sake of it.

Music: I'm a Vertical Horizon fan, but as a general rule, I tend to like certain songs, not the entire back-catalogue of any specific artist.

Right now, I'm listening to 'I Touch Myself', 'Jesse's Girl', 'Before He Cheats', 'For My Lover' and 'Song For Whoever'.
Films: I write professional reviews; it's almost impossible for me to simply write my opinion, or which ones I like. No, it's an entire essay instead. Same with books and games.

I do own an unlimited card; early Christmas present. Best gift ever.
Books: My favourite authors include Sheri Tepper, Jodi Picoult and Terry Pratchett. There are several books by other authors that I love, but those are the ones who can be relied upon to keep my interest. Yes, I am aware that Pratchett has Alzheimers, and yes, that is upsetting.

I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy, but I also have a secret love for chick-lit novels, particularly those by Catherine Alliott and Sophie Kinsella. I've been getting more into horror stories recently, particularly Stephen King and Koji Suzuki. I've read three or four thousand books in my lifetime, so it really is impossible to write a list of my favourites - currently on my mind is the best I can give you.
Games: I like RPGs, since they tend to have the best storylines. Vandal Hearts II is the best strategy game ever created, and it's one I return to over and over again, even though it's almost as old as I am. I like the Shadow Hearts series best, particularly the first game, and I also like Breath of Fire. Yes, that is Deis as my profile image. Deis is also the name I use on a number of sites, so if you ever see that name, it's probably me.

I play a lot of Final Fantasy, mostly because there are a lot of them. I'm not a big FF7 fan, mostly because the other fans put me off. If you freaks like it, there has to be something wrong with it; it's incredibly off-putting, to see that amount of drool over three discs.
