- Hi, My name is Laura and I am originally from Monaghan but moved to Cork several years ago. I got married in July 2006 to Brian and had the most amazing day ever. For our first wedding anniversay we extended our wee family and got a new puppy, a minature shitzu that we called Max....so tiny and so cute!
I am currently working as a sectretary for a secondary school in North Cork....so much paper work and the phone never stops....but I like it!

Church Joke
A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak.
After mass he asked the monsignor how he had done.
The monsignor replied, "When I am worried about getting nervous on the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If i start to get nervous, I take a sip"
So next Sunday he took the monsignor's advice. At the beginning of the sermon, h got nervous and took a drink.

Its a right step from monaghan to cork. What u working at down there? Im working in a clothes shop 2 days and a filling station 3 days. Done a Pa course last year but there are no jobs. I'd say your ones miss u now your so far away.
Who is living down there? Its hard to get time to get round to seeing people. Im heading to oz now for a while after xmas, cant wait to get away. Do u come up to monaghan much these days?
