- I like the idea that I was born with a deck in my hand. During my birth my hand was deformed into a fist. When doctors at last managed to open my little fist there was a deck of cards in it. So, my destiny was predetermined. In 1979 I came to the United States (from South Vietnam) to become a poker player. But unlike many players who first of all began to try their skills in all known types of games I began as a dealer.
