  • What I've Learned.....

I've learned that you can't go to church just for the people. You have to go for what the church believes. You can't settle for anything less than the truth! People will always bring you down and you have to remember - NOBODY is perfect - but God is!

I've learned that I never knew I could love someone as much as I love my son (and of course my husband too :) ) I always wanted to be a mom and for awhile I was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to happen but the moment I held my son for the first time on March 14th, 2006 - my whole life changed --- for the better! He has filled my life with so much joy, love and excitement. All I can say is that I love being a mom!

I've learned that no matter what the situation is that's going on in your life - good or bad - God has a plan for you and will bring you through it. God only brings things your way that he knows that you can handle.

I've learned that I need to give everything to God and not hold onto everything and let him take care of it (ok so I'm still working on that - but I'm getting better)

I've learned that people change - we all grow up eventually. You start out in school with all of your friends, everybody's so close and then after you graduate - you slowly drift apart. After a while you're left with just a few good friends ( you know who you are) and though you may not speak to each other every day or see each other often - you always know that they're there for you when you need them.

I've learned to be more thankful for what God has blessed me with -- My Salvation (without it I don't know where I would be right now if God hadn't saved me), My Family (husband, son, etc), My Friends, My Job, My Church and of course My Life! I have so much more that I could list -- but these are just a few of the most important ones!
