alert bay
over ten years ago i went to alert bay and met my dads side of his family. it was a memorable trip.i fell in love with them. what beautiful people , what a beautiful place. i was adopted by felix and dolores grant. they were amazing parents , supportive and loving.and they made awesome grandparents.i was truly blessed. i went to alert bay in 1996. and was right at home i met several relatives. too numerous to mention.i felt welcome and loved. it was the best time of my life. they are rich with culture and spirituality. i am fortunate to have such people in my life. they have opened their hearts to me and my little family. i saw the video clip of the potlatch ban, i had to put it on my page to share what the namgis had been faced with. i know other first nations have suffered similar events that change our people forever.0 Comments 285 weeks

Hey my dear cousine. How are u doing? I am fine. Moved to Nanaimo for my change for my job wise and for my children to have more than Alert Bay can offer at this time. But I am happy.
