Hey everyone, Natalie (aka-DJ PJ), Kayleigh & Myself have a show on Storm FM. It's called the Text Session & it's a request / chat show. We are on tuesdays, 6-8.

It would be nice to get some requests off the people we know! : )

To listen, if you're one of the lucky 1's who can get Storm on your radio: It's 87.7fm.
If like me, you can't get it, go to stormfm.com & click on 128kbps.
If it doesn't work, you can change your proxy settings. It's really easy, I've just done it.
This is what you do:

Go to

Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections Tab > LAN Settings

Tick "Use a proxy server for your LAN..."
Set the address to 'wwwcache.bangor.ac.uk'.
Set the port to '8080'.

Then, in Windows Media Player
Tools > Options > Network Tab
Click 'Configure' under 'Streaming Proxy Settings'.
Select 'Use proxy settings of the Web Browser'.

To Unset the Windows proxy settings
Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections Tab > LAN Settings

Untick "Use a proxy server for your LAN..."

After a lots of blood, sweat and tears.... and mountains of hard work from past and present Storm members, the new studio is finally up and running, and we are broadcasting.... Live 24/7!!!!

I was down there today and I can’t help but feel proud of everybody involved because so much energy and dedication has gone into making it work. It has taken a lot of time to get everything up and running again, and there have been lots of knocks along the way, but all the hard work will now pay off! That studio will be broadcasting for years to come, and future Bangor Students will have a fully functioning radio studio to be proud of!

If you are in halls on Ffridd get your kitchen radios tuned in!!! If you are not in halls and you live in a student house try and tune in anyhow (we can be picked up in all sorts of places!!). If that doesn’t work log onto www.stormfm.com and listen on-line!! You have no excuses!!
