D.R.O.W.N.

Trapped beneath a fury of waves
This soundless death my body craves
I scream with mouth agape
To my disgrace, no sounds escape
Held under without hope of emerging
With every gasp my adrenaline surging
Totally immersed in this deep cobalt snare
I laugh to myself in devilish despair
Unrestrained rage fills my heart
Then a sudden calm as I prepare to depart
Suppressed agony I have endured
My one desire is to be cured
My only struggle is to again be free
Free of everything, especially me
As I fight this monster I only sink deeper
I run towards the light and to death’s keeper
Then suddenly, silent tears I cry
I finally know that I will die
Alas, this is my day
My thoughts will be washed away
I will be always left in peace
My despondent thoughts will finally cease

This may or may not be interesting, but I will definitely let you be the judge. I've been sick with a cold/sinus thing and today was definitely a turn for the worse. But, hey, c'est la vie! I want to plan a trip to go somewhere. . .I've stopped caring where, I just want to get out of town. I want to fly, not drive. I don't know why but for some reason when you FLY somewhere it just seems like more of a "vacation" then when you drive even a few hours to your destination.
What else is new?
Oh yeah, my fantastic best friend Amanda Graham is getting married to Loren Chandler on the 12th of November. It's quite thrilling for me, as she honored me with asking me to be her maid of honor.
Actually, technically, I am called a "MATRON" of honor because I'm married. Seriously, though, how lame is that? Matron? I am SO not matronly! To me, a matron is someone who is like middle aged with a few kids. Ugh . . . matron. Bah. Amanda said I could be a maid if I wanted, which makes me very happy.
