Life so far....

Well, this is my first attempt at a blog so be gentle!
Life is very complicated at the moment, as you all know, Dave is a chef in the Army, and all hell is about to break lose!
He has an on-going back problem, made worse by a knee cartlidge removal operation in October, which he still hasnt recovered from. The Army are carrying out a work-place assessment on Tuesday 9th May to see if he is fit to do his job or not. As you can imagine, a chef is on his feet 10-12hrs a day, and he jsut cant do it with his injuries. The options as they stand at the moment are whether the Army discharge him or he signs off, so either way we will be Army free by May 2007 and homeless!!!
We are obviously hoping he is discharged as it would then be the Army making us homeless and the council will have to house us, back in good old Ipswich, which will be great because we will be closer to my Dad.
Will keep you all posted as to what happens on Tuesday - here's hoping we get the results we want!0 Comments 377 weeks

Oh never - she has been having a hectic time since they got married. Just got their house all renovated in the nick of time before baby arrived. I am due again in Sept - think I must be mad. We are only half way through renovations ourselves but nevermind, babies arent bothered about decor!!! Cant believe that she is nearly 4, where does time go. How is your Dad getting on?
