  • HOLLOW BE THY WEENY MENEE MINY MO FROM ME LOG

    Justin’s Log – 8/26 – psych, that’s the time. The date is 10/31/05 “All Hollow’s Eve”

The night is festive tonight, for trick or trader’s run the streets with their costumes on looking for candy. Why are they traders – because the spell checker said so.
I use a computer to type my logs because I can type faster than I write. I write poems with a pencil because for some reason it wakes my unconscious better. My next invention I have thought of.
I need a key board that ties to each hand – one half per hand. So I can type and move around. It would have to be designed slightly differently than a real keyboard, of course, but it would nice to have. Where shall the monitor be – well, in the place it always was. The real keyboard would be in the same place too – this is just a little extra feature. But we can make it a mobile computer if we want, or we can just attach a monitor to one side.
This invention would be perfect for me because I could lay on my back in bed just thinking about stuff before I fall asleep, and if a thought came to mind, I could just type it up without even looking at a monitor. Mavis Beacon Typing is a good program to learn how to type. I learned when I was 12 because I was fat and didn’t have anything else to do with my life at the time but wash dishes, vacuum, eat candy and cheeseburgers, tape cartoons that I would never watch again, make funny faces out of my fat roles and then scold myself for being so fat, and then eat ice cream.
That’s why I’m not trick or trading right now. Just kidding, I went on a diet in 7th grade and lost all that fat and have been tall and reasonably skinny ever since, and very, very, very, and I do mean very, handsome, very. Just kidding. How would I know. I lost my vision in the first and last annual human dartboard tournament in the last minute of the 450 dart-a-minute speed throwing competition. Luckily for me, it only happened in a dream, a lifelong dream called reality, but luckily for my reality, it was just a dream, until I woke up and faced the pillow face down up on its side down - the cup that is flipped up what twist up is this when I can't get words to face what they mean if only if I could wish from a well. I flipped a coin and wished for two eyes and my surprise the wish was granted and I was well well it does pay to wish from a well but only if it is filled with tokens that other people threw in it little did they know that the well indeed was for me and not for them.
NEW INVENTION - READ ALL ABOUT IT.
Invention – a nutrition bar that was scientifically tailored for each individual to meet their nutrition needs based on their body size, metabolism rate, ect., so that it had the exact balance of carbs, proteins and fatty acids the particular body needed to function at its maximum potential. This bar would probably make people healthier, which in turn would make them live longer, and they would have more energy throughout the day. But the bar would probably taste like rat poop. According to spell checker, poop is a real word but treater isn’t. – There’s “treated,” but no treater - back to the rat-poop tasting nutrition bar. Scientists or Tickle-Me-Elmo, or his brother, Tennis-Me-Elbo should invent it so I can pass them out to the trick or traders next Halloween. Then they would be treated.
    The end.

  • The Ultimate Song Part I

    10/29/05 – Justin’s Log

Looking at my name – its too plain. I think I might need to change it. Something catchy. I’ll put that in the back of my mind and let it figure this out because my front side doesn’t feel like thinking about it.
There are different parts of the brain people use. I think “right” and “left” are way too basic though. Oh well.
Another story – I am listening to music, and thinking about songs that I love and don’t like, and songs that are classics and songs that are flops, there is a science to it I think. Actually, although I hate to say it, I believe there’s a science to everything…even creativity. Great screenwriters have lots of creativity to think of the things they think of, but they also have a good formula, that can be broken down in an A does this to B, and B does this to C style. I read that ABC stuff in a book about screenwriting, and on Sesame Street.
Okay back to the music, the music, the music. Rhythm is formulated. And I’m not much of a musician, but I know it follows an ABC, 123 style of some sort. I played the trumpet in elementary school and junior high and I read music notes. None of this is helping my point, so I’ll cut to the scissors. Okay, I must think of a way to explain it to myself, because I keep intimidating my mind and it keeps hiding the key from me. I need some spinach.
Okay, here it goes again. Try to remember a favorite song. Now forget the words and think of the music. There was probably a certain melody that snagged your attention and soothed your mind. If there wasn’t and your insistent that it was the singer, then why aren’t the shelves at music stores stocked with a capela? So anyway, that melody was a combination of sounds put together in a way that you liked. You could take the same sounds and mix them in another way and you might not like it, but they were still the same sounds. If that’s the case, don’t you think there could be a way we could figure out why that combination was soothing to us; for instance, the snare drum that taps 4 beats per second mixed with the saxophone playing the C, D, F, C notes to the rhythm – super basic at first, but there are hundreds of trillions of music combinations out there, and that’s why it never gets old – real quick fact I must throw in – music stimulates the brain with through vibrations… so technically you enjoy a song because it stimulates the brain.
So the whole point of this is ---- drum role please, and please, play it like this with that and this other instrument so I can be maximally stimulated ---- see that’s what I’m saying, the point is or question is --- what we figured out which combinations of music stimulate our brains the most, and plug it into a super computer that calculates the “ultimate” song…. Now I don’t want to jump off on the deep end, but I think the ultimate song would unlock a part of our brain that we were incapable of using or allow us to finally use a part we never could before (like finally being able to wiggle your ears). It could make us smarter… it might allow us to see things like the Matrix…. Or it could cause us to go crazy, or it could cause the crazy people to go normal and the normal people to go crazy. But then again, who decided what a normal brain wave would look like anyway?? I think that’s like deciding where the circle starts.

We decided what was normal based on our beliefs. Others would do the same based on their beliefs. Doctors would say, Well Justin your brain is overly active in this section and not active enough in another. I would say, well doctor what if both sectors functioned just perfect, but based on the chemistry of the 13th quadrant of my brain, that would improperly balance and cause me to become a manic depressive maniac. That’s why I’m never going to get rid of my tonsils – those damn things could be God’s way of identifying us – you take out your identity, your file becomes lost. Not that I’m saying heaven is a bureaucracy. Heaven could be anything. It could be an endless second, an eternity frozen in time, or it could be a world based on the collection of others people’s thoughts about you. If that were the case, Mother Teresa is a happy spirit. Heaven could be the next step to find Thesben (heaven’s heaven; however it would probably be named something different) that is of course, if words existed on that level. Maybe spoken words are the language of the underdeveloped brains, and they only speak in vibrations, which the under developed earthlings called “music.”
Funny how things work out… I really didn’t try to tie that together like that – sometimes it just happens, like when an idea pops in your head – a new one you never thought of. Where did that thing come from? Did a neuron loose its way and bump into a cell and spark a new idea. Or did the brain open up to its full potential for a split second? But hay is for horses, and sugar is sweet, and my fingers are five times two like my feet. Two, too, and to – all sound the same, but slightly different meaning. Does that apply to objects and perception, and if so, is everyone’s tuned the same way? “Hey my buddy friend, could you hand me that blanket?” Buddy Friend – “I don’t see a blanket.” Me – “Sure you do, its in your hand.” Buddy Friend – No its not. The only thing in my hand is my girlfriend’s dress.” Me – “Oh, we don’t call them dresses in my country… I’m from Chili, and we call dresses like the one your holding “blankets” because they are so beautiful they warm the soul.”
Well, a circle with water at the bottom feeders never come to the surface of every meaning has more underlying truth. Exactly my point (agreeing with backside of my mind). Too busy its thinking about that when it should be thinking of my new name.
One quick thing I must say fast. A couple nights ago, I closed my eyes and tried to see. There wasn’t much to see except the back of my eyelids, but nevertheless, I kept looking. I tried not to think of anything because then I would be seeing that, which was nothing but a mind rerun. So I kept staring as if my eyes weren’t closed. Probably 30 minutes passed and then I saw something that I’d never seen before. The blackness turned slightly reddish and then I started seeing bubbles. The bubbles were floating upward at my eye like I was looking down at a pot of boiling water. By the way, I was completely sober. So the bubbles kept going and more and more started floating pass me as if I was zooming through space and the bubbles were stars. This got me thinking of course. I actually scared myself because I thought maybe I had a tumor or something or something bad to me was about to happen, but then nothing did, so I was okay. So I started thinking again. But I’m tired of writing. Sorry.
    The End.
