Not much done this weekend. Mostly just a lot of kicking back and hanging with my bro. Went for a long bike ride on the strand today and man was it packed. There was some pro beach volleyball tournament in Hermosa and the place was packed. The upside of it was that all the twins were out in full force if you get my drift . I think I should just stay here, take up surfing, and start working as an extra on movies and shit. Become a starving actor just like 75% of the population here. That would be sweet. The weather was finally nice today as its been gloomy ever since I got here. Don't have any plans yet for the week, think I'll just play it by ear like I always do. I'm a firm believer that if you plan a vacation too much it no longer is a vacation and just ends up being work. Yeah, like I plan anything. Peace out my Nigerians!

OK folks, here's the update from day 1 in LA. Believe it or not, I woke up at 6:00 this morning. I have no fucking idea why but I did. I got up and started to watch TV and realized it was way too early to be up so I went back to bed. When I finally woke up at a more reasonable hour I decided I would head to the Grove for lunch at the Farmer's Market. The Farmer's Market is basically a bunch of little mom and pop food stands all gathered right in the middle of hoity toity central but it's well worth putting up with a bunch of fake bastards because the food is so good. I had a huge turkey sammich that the guy carved right in front of me along with some smashed taters with turkey gravy and some fresh green beans. MMM good. While eating I saw a bunch of posers but the funniest thing I saw was a disgustingly thin 40-something with disgustingly huge fake tits wearing what must have been $200+ jeans and $500+ shoes. And when I say disgustingly huge fake tits I mean those puppies were big. I'm guessing DD's or bigger on a woman that looked like a rail. She also looked to have had some major work done on her face because it didn't move. EVER! I swear she must have been talking through her nose. she was also unbelievably rude to the poor guy who was trying to take her order. I can't imagine why people think plastic surgery makes them look better when they go in with a few wrinkles and come out with gross deformities and surrealistically smooth skin. It's just gross. I also saw a desperately fashionable asian guy, you know the type, trendy jeans, pointy toed dress shoes, distressed T shirt and pin striped sport coat. The funny thing was he was wearing headphones and carrying a portable CD player. Mr. Height of Cool and Fashion spent so much on his jeans he couldn't even afford an iPod. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everyone needs to own an iPod, I'm just saying this guy is on the cutting edge of fashion but he is still five years behind the digital music revolution. My advice to him is to skip his next trip to Hugo Boss and Diesel and head over to the Apple store so he can get himself up to speed. Well, after a litle more wandering and screwing around I headed for home where I sat on the deck watching the ocean and grilling my steak and now here I sit. I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of the night. My brother comes home tomorrow from a business trip so I guess I'll have to get all the hookers and circus animals out of his place before then. I guess the fun always has to come to an end eventually. Damn.
