Freshers' Week is over and it's my birthday!!!

I just can't get any motivation to do anything today. I finished my report which took me to about lunchtime. Then I thought I'd make the day pass faster by having a nap. Bad plan; I had a really horrible vivid dream where David (last year's senior student) cut my left hand off with a sword and I couldn't get to hospital. I was trying to get to hospital and there were these tram type things in the way and I had to jump off the platform onto the track and my hand fell off again. The most irritating thing was that I couldn't remember whether or not I killed David and thus whether or not I needed to avoid him. Then (even more irritating), after I had overcome the problem of the trams, I was getting on a bus that went to the hospital (I assume) and all my friends were on the bus. They couldn't care less that I'd had my left hand cut off, but wanted me to go with them to a party. Hmmm. The ramblings of an unstable mind.

In fact, I had an equally disturbing dream last night. There was this big guy in a black and white striped gorilla suit, and he'd done something to me like mugged me or something and I told the police. Now, because I'd grassed him up, he was chasing me. I was running away from him a lot, and he kept getting closer and closer. I can't remember what he hid when he caught me, which is probably for the best. Then, for some reason I was in a car with him (he was no longer wearing the gorilla costume) and we went to the police station and they got him. Then they drilled this thing into his armpits that was supposedly so that they could track him if he escaped. Then I was upstairs in the police station and Gareth was trying to calm me down and I kept asking him if they'd caught the guy and he said that they had, but I was convinced that the guy had escaped and I was still really scared and I woke up still really scared and expecting to have to run away from black-and-white-sriped-gorrilla-costume guy.

What a day. Hopefully Gareth will be home soon and we can have a cuddle and go for dinner and all will be pink and fluffy.

I have finally discovered this site after much talk of it at MUGSS. We've just finished Utopia Ltd, and I have realised that not doing any work for three weeks is not a good thing. I have a tutorial sheet to do, a program to finish ((not going to happen)) and I'm working in the bar tonight. I have a lecture at four and then the worst weekly event I have to endure - formal dinner.

My external hard drive has stopped working!! No! My entire life is on there! I have called the manufacturers and they said they were going to e-mail something to me, but it hasn't got here yet. Now, to top it all off, my right foot has gone to sleep. I'm going to get food...
