after four days at the download festival the Wish is proud to announce that there was no need for ANY admissions to hospital...waahey. altough that scraped elbow during the kick off for a mosh pit did sting a bit!! But seriously it was one hell of a weekend involving 100,000 people gathered to watch Kiss live and let me tell you that it was a gig that cant be beaten. I mean how many bands do you know that have:
Multiple fireballs on stage
Guitars that shoot fireworks
All of the band members on their own liftey uppey podiums
A whole drum kit platform that was on a winch!
The lead travelling on a zipwire to the sound stage behind to play to the crowd at the back(who couldn't get proper view)
A fifteen minute confetti snowstorm
Awesome fireworks
And Gene Simmons flying up into the lighting rig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Judas priest, motorhead, offspring, apocolyptica, municipal waste, incubus and disturbed also did pretty good sets!
The suicide girls deserve a big hands up coz they were gorgeous!

O.K. folks the Wish is getting sick of things going tits up... seriously! Theres an old joke that goes summat like this.... Once upon a time a wise man holds up a glass that has some some water in it...... three men walk up to the wise man and he asks "what do you think of this glass?"
The optimist replies.."I think it is half full!"
The pessimist replies .."that buggers half empty!" and so the engineer steps up to the plate and tells the wise man..."Sir that glass represents a serious breakdown in communications within the staff involved in filling that glass. first off it is twice the size required for the amount of liquid contained within it! secondly whomever was told to "fill" the glass was clearly not doing their job! and thirdly that glass is clearly capable of holding liquids of a far greater value... so wheres the bloody beer????
That wee joke aside, the Wish has been to hospital far too many times in the last 12 months......... let me recall:
fish bone lodged in throat = 1 admission
dislocated shoulder = 1admission
torn rotator cuff = 1 admission
damaged "AC" joint = 1 admission
being on fire = 1 admission
infected tattoo = 1 admission
getting the crap kicked out of me = 1 admission

The Wish thinks that there may be some correlation between hospital admissions and some other unidentified external factor!!! immortality may come into it.

Let N..N+1..N+2 be the individual situation of "dangerous" occurences
Let P..P+1..P+2 be the % danger of said occurences (0% being no danger of injury and 100%being almost certain death) with relation to N..N+1 etc
Let T be the time frame involved in months
So the following equation should equal the amount of times required by said events......

H= (N*P/T)+((N+1)*(P+1)/T))+((N+2)*(P
 +2)/T))................... ALL over T total
Theres a good chance I'm wrong wrong over this formula but it makes me feel good ( there may be some constants i have neglected to include)
