just moved into my new house in rathmines - not exactly looking over dingle bay but still its a nice lacation starting work with the hilton, really don't know what i am letting myself in for!!!

DOGS!!!! - this needs to be slightly updated - i think i may have overcome my fear - there were dogs everywhere in costa rica and i havent freaked once!!!

    its all nearly over now, back at main town now as am flying out tomorrow - just cant believe it went so fast.
    last day of work was great, we managed to dig half the tank - was waist high in it, very proud of myself.
    went to monteverde on fri evening, ( stood for 3.5 hours on a bus through the rockiest roads ever - the dublin to tralee train wouldnt get a look in!!) it was so different, really good, it was really touristy, just near the rain forest.
    we went for drinks on friday night to a place where there was supposedly a 'band' but it was more like Big Tom with all couples dancing but it was an experience.
    went zip lining over the rain forest on sat - you are tied onto a harness and literally flying along a cable to the next point - passing over trees and nearly flying into others, nearly had a heart attack at the start, but it was really good.
    then we went on a night trek through the forest - it was pretty scary, but we saw lots of animals and waterfalls
    so now im back in alejuela and flying home tomorrow night, looking forward to seeing everyone, but wish is wasnt going vack to work...........

    cant belive its nearly over, only 2 more days at work - no injuries yet, have wrist in bandage through - not used to using it this way - no smart comments please!!!
    new gang arrived yest - annoying americans but up for the craic. got off early today so spent my first afternoon shopping, not actually that cheap, but nice enought clothes.
    big house party tonite, so ill prob be praying for rain tomorrow!!

    day - dont know what day im on now!!
    went to la fortuna at the weekend, went for a hike in the rain forest ( after amount of work done all week - the hike was like a walk in the park!!)
    then we were supposed to see something spectacular - lava flowing from an active volcano but just our luck - it started raining, but i suppose it is rainy season over here. but the weekend was topped off with a trip to the hot springs, it was the nicest experience ever - it was like a big park with lots of different pools, each one at a different temperature, some of them even had bars in them. it was dark when i was there but so relaxing ( have decided already that i am going to spend my last day before i fly home in one, best way to put me to sleep for the very long flight!!)

    so back to work this morn, and i'm getting really sick of digging foundations, hopefully we'll be finished in the morn, where's the jcb's when you need them!! on the plus side the colour is coming along, and the fear of dogs is dwindling every day!!!!
