- LAMB OF GOD are renowned for their world class metal. Comprising vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, and drummer Chris Adler, the band have accumulated global sales of around three million units. They have performed numerous sold out shows across the globe as well as appearing at some of the world’s biggest rock festivals, including Ozzfest & Download. In 2007, they were honoured with a Grammy nomination.
Richmond, Virginia-based metallers LAMB OF GOD have set "Wrath" as the title of their fifth studio album. The record will be issued in North America by Epic on February 24, 2009 and will be the band's first release outside North America through Roadrunner Records.
"Wrath" was produced by Josh Wilbur and was recorded in studios in New York, Virginia, and New Hampshire.
LAMB OF GOD finished the touring cycle for the Grammy-nominated album "Sacrament" at the end of 2007. The two-year trek was documented in the gold-certified DVD "Walk with Me in Hell" and culminated with the band headlining arenas across the U.S. last December.
The band took the entirety of 2008 off the road to focus on the writing process for "Wrath".
"This album is going to surprise a lot of people," comments drummer Chris Adler. "Typically bands that get to where we are in our career begin to slack off, smell the roses and regurgitate. We chose a different path. No one wants to hear another band member hyping a new record. 'Wrath' needs no hype. We have topped ourselves and on February 24 you will feel it."
LAMB OF GOD will embark on an extensive tour that will cover the globe. As previously announced, the band will support METALLICA on the December leg of their tour. The first leg of the "Wrath" world tour will start in Finland on February 6 and will include dates in the UK, Australia, and Japan.

ROADRUNNER RECORDS are thrilled to welcome heavy metal masters LAMB OF GOD to the Roadrunner family (ex-North America).
LAMB OF GOD are renowned for their world class metal.
“Having toured with countless Roadrunner bands both domestically and overseas Lamb of God has had the chance to see the amount of promotion and support the label puts into their bands. The foreign territories seem a perfect place to put the two machines in motion together. We look forward to a long partnership! Cheers!” enthuses frontman Randy Blythe. Roadrunner’s Snr VP International, Wally van Middendorp, agrees, “Roadrunner and Lamb Of God are a perfect match. We’re excited to be working with them. Everyone is looking forward to taking Lamb of God to the next level!”
The first LAMB OF GOD release on Roadrunner will be an all-new, 2-DVD set on June 30, 2008.
The Walk With Me In Hell 2-DVD set features over five hours of incredible, all-access footage. Disc 1 contains the highly anticipated feature documentary Walk With Me In Hell and multiple live performance extras from across the globe on the Sacrament World Tour. The documentary chronicles every detail in the lives of Lamb of God as they completed recording and toured around the world nearly three times over in support of the highly praised 2006 album Sacrament. Disc 2 includes an additional full-length Making of Sacrament feature plus LAMB OF GOD’s entire, uncut, brutal performance at the Download Festival 2007, where they performed in front of over 72,000 fans. Extras include deleted scenes, live performance videos for various tour stops, the official music video for Redneck, and a Making of Redneck documentary.
“We're on stage for 90 minutes a day,” says drummer Chris Adler. “People want to know what's going on for the other 22 ½ hours. It's not always limousines and champagne! Killadelphia [LOG’s previous platinum-certified DVD] surprised a lot of people and proved that we refuse to censor or hold anything back. True to the high standard that we hold ourselves to, Walk With Me In Hell is unlike any music DVD I’ve ever seen. This is an entire new level of documentary taking you on an intense, worldwide journey with us.”
