Yesterday, I went for a job interview in Birmingham - a position described as a 'Data Analyst Technician'. It involves examining traffic flow information and looking for anomalies and transferring everything to a database. It looks a bit routine but at least it's a job. Hopefully it will eventually lead to something better. I start work on thursday (the 7th).

Well, it's the start of another week of unemployment. I'm sitting in my room, looking out over the railway line which runs at the back of the house. It's the main Birmingham to London line, so it's usually quite busy. It gives me something to look at when I'm bored.
