- From the sublime to the ridiculous. I have very recently popped the old MP3 player cherry and the content is eclectic to say the least. Currently have a lot of Ocean Colour Scene mixed in with Elvis, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Coldplay, Keane, The Corries and a bit of Wacko for good measure. Plenty of ammunition for you there folks, take your best shots!

- Hhhmmm. Always got a soft spot for the Jurassic Parks in a “sad kid with a dinosaur infatuation” way. You can’t beat Scarface or Godfather and lets really rock the boat with Shawshank Redemption. Not seen anything stand out for a while although Last King of Scotland and Sin City aren’t bad at all.

Oh dear…continuing the theme of predictability. Football – playing, watching and refereeing. Somehow still fit and agile enough to throw myself forlornly around between the sticks of a Saturday morning for Yer Maw in the Uni intra-mural leagues. Helps that there is about 4 stone more of me to fill the goal now!
Outwith footy still like to pick up a cue now and again and can still swing tennis, squash and badminton racquets with relative competence. Golf’s the new bug though – roll on the warmer weather and a new season of torment and lost balls traipsing around, through and over the Braid Hills!0 Comments 318 weeks

Just in case anyone still cares.
A wee update for 2007 folks.
Been living in Edinburgh since 2000 and barring a few scrapes and hospital visits loving it down here. Drank and played a wee bit too much Playstation and pool during University but ended up with law degree. Now 17 ½ months through the two year traineeship on the road to becoming a fully fledged solicitor. Mostly been buying and selling houses although recently have been working in the wills and executries department. So, if you are intending on buyin or dyin in the near future and need some “reasonably priced” advice I’ll point you in the right direction. The firm has been stupid/generous enough to offer me a permanent post once the training is complete so a proper career looms ominously on the horizon!
Outwith work living up Marchmont with Mr BT and an as yet unconfirmed third party (if you know of anybody looking let me know). Life amid all the students…clinging on to days gone past I hear you say…I’ll not have a word of it!

Oh dear god!!!
Well, to all of you out there over the years since American Pie first came out who have mercilessly ripped the proverbial by continually telling me that I am the spitting image of Jim unfortunately I'm gonna have to eat humble pie and admit you were 52% right! I dread to think what sort of nonsense figure might arise if I put a photo up which shows the old brucey bonus chin!

You think you could get an edinburgh select 6 a-side team together for Sunday 28th July? Got the Liege Legends in town for the Barca game on the Saturday and thought it might be a nice challenge match on the Sunday?
