Well, it's that time of year again, fall leaves and bagpacks, crayons and rulers, the whole house empty for a change...ahhhhhh yes, school is starting again! My house will again be silent for 8 hours strait, and it's an exciting prospect for any mother.
My mom is wonderful company, and I am so glad to be able to spend time with her. I moved from Vermont to spend time with her and I am glad I did. She has Emphesema, and it's a very emotional illness for me, because of the agony of watching the decline of health in such an extrodinary woman and friend. She is very brave, more brave than anyone I've known. Inside this frail and beautiful woman is pure solid steel. I love her.
My youngest son is now potty-trained completely and it's sooooo nice. I had forgotten what it was like to live in a diaper free house...
I am looking forward to cooler autumn days, it's been 110 here for several days now and I feel more than a bit parched. I've still been walking every day with my youngest, for the change in scenery and for the excersize, and we've discovered it's not only fun to walk, but good time to spend together also. I've also discovered that the children's play equiptment at the park really wont collapse under my wieght like I've feared all along, and is really good excersize...think Mommy boot camp, with obstical courses.
I am trying to learn how to play the guitar again after a 4 year absence in lessons due to pregnancy and baby upbringing, but now that preschool is in the works, I'll have alone time again. It's slow going...
In other news, life with the rest of my family is currently chaotic, hopefully the change and drama will soon mellow out to a gentle swell of activity again.
Mabey I can make it more of a habit to write more on my various blogs now too...

Well it's good to be home, moving in to an appartment here that is temporary till I make it down to texas again, but hey, it's nice right? There really isnt much to say at this point, just working and trying to get by with everything going on, changes and everything. Boy, life can throw some wicked curve balls eh? Oh well, roll with the punches. I can handle just about anything...how do you like my bravado? Well, take care everyone, Merry Christmas and all that good bit.
