About Me

Scottish Blood Metal
Me, Myself, and I
There is doubt whether anyone knew what was to be in store for humanity with the formation of Glasgow, Scotland, The Worlds first “Blood Metal” band, Achren in 2003.

Initially terrorising audiences as a trio, Scott Anderson (Guitar, Vocals / Drunken Debauchery), Callum Kirk (Guitar / Inebriated Womanising) and ex-Coercion (SWE) member Gordon Johnston (Drums / Sheep Worrying) as Achren, set about malevolently fusing black, thrash and death metal in their first two demo releases, Fury of the Northmen (2004) and On the Wings of War (2005)
The trio were joined by ex-Sulphur Children’s Miranda The Mosher (Bass / Heaving Bosom Vegan) who kicked some metal ass and brought her own distinctive brand of head banging mayhem to the completed line up.

aye guys, we've had a notice up about your Aberdeen gig for a while now, we'll advertise it a bit more nearer the time too. Hoping to get a fair crowd there but dont build your hopes up too much sorry, Aberdeen's support for extreme metal is fucking pathetic. I will definatly be there myself anyway and ill drag at least a few people along with me.
