- At 22 years old i have found the man of my dreams. I love him and miss him. My parents absolutely like him too. Army life is hard because of the seperation while he is in Iraq. But knowing he loves me and I'll be here when he comes home is making it a bit easier.
My brother is now in the army as well. He graduates basic training in March. I'm proud of him, but i knew he could do it. - Music

- Wow i have so many...1) when I almost walked off with one of Friendly's cups...2)Slipping on a carpet while trying to put ice down chelseas shirt...3)Trying to turn in the wrong place at Sheetz & driving in the left lane while cars where coming...it was dark out for that one though lol... 4) Play fighting with Josh and almost punching him really hard in the face. He blocked it and I ended up with a broken wrist. All he said was "Woah! Imagine what that would have done to my face if you would have landed that punch!". He did wrap it and ice it though. I still havent learned my lesson though cause i still fight with him. lol.

Forced find...
So my step-momma...aka Carol...decided that she wouldnt take no for an answer and took me to the ER last night to get checked because yet again i had a fever of 101.6 this time. So she said that was too high in an adult to just let it go and i was going whether i liked it or not. So I was forced to go. I was there from 8pm until about 1am. It was crazy.
They took tests to check if i had strep because the nurse said it looked like a bad case of strep. But she also said she wanted to check if i had mono. So they brought out a needle...(ugh) ....and stuck it in my hand and took blood so they could test if for mono. While they had the needle in there they also shot me up with Steroids to help my throat open up because it was so swollen it hurt to swallow anything. I didnt want to eat or drink anything. Which was making me even more dehydrated then i already was. So i am running high on steroids...woot. They helped a bit but it still hurts a little to swallow stuff. I should have asked her what happens if the steroids run out and my throat closes back up. Ugh...i dont want to think about that.
So we sat and waited for the mono test to come back and the RN comes in and puts both thumbs up. I was like "Yes i dont have it!" He said "no you do have it. The thumbs up is that we have possitive results. Its really hard to get them." I told him he just shattered any happiness i had left. He just laughed. So now i have been diagnosed with Mononucleosis. I dont know who i got it from or how long i have had it so they dont know how long i will be contagious or not. I am not allowed to go back to work the rest of this week and its up to the doctor when i go see him on friday when he wants to release me to go back.
They also told me no contact sports or to do anything that could hit my stomache because i guess the disease makes your spleen larger or something and if you get hit in the stomache it could rupture...i dont know...i just know i will have to watch my stomache as closely as if i was pregnant for the next 6-8 weeks. This is ridiculous. grrr. I hate being sick. Why cant i be like josh and not ever be able to get sick cause my immune system is freakin awesome???

Wowzers...
Its been a while since i wrote to this thing...
So news update...I have a BF...His name is Joshua. Hes great, i love him. Mom likes him too. Can you believe that one? A guy my MOTHER approves of other then Travis. Thats a shocker. Dad & mike like him too. So he is basically set for if he ever wanted to marry me. Which i doubt he will be asking any time soon. Not long enough yet. Haha. He is an Army Boy. He is scheduled to go to Iraq in October and he will be there a year so i am not going to be so happy when that time comes. I will miss him a lot. You dont even know.
Ugh...I've been sick for the past few weeks. Probably about three weeks totalled. My sickness ranges from just a slight cold to a fever reaching 102.7 and then a sore throat that i cant swallow anything with and also dehydration. Isnt that nice? Mom wanted me to go to the EmergiCare Center and get myself checked out cause she thinks i might have Bronchial Pnemonia. What joy. I dont have the money to go and she needs to pay the mortgage so she can pay the doctor bill either. Therefore...i am not going. I told her to buy me some chicken soup and some gatorade and i will get better that way instead. Even though that will take WAY longer. Doesnt matter. I would rather have her buy food or pay the mortgage then waste it on a doctor bill for me. It would be a waste. Dont you think i am right? I am.

Are you hoping for something you can't see?
There are things I hope will happen but I am not seeing it go in that direction. I know i get discouraged because it seems like everyone else around me is getting that one thing i hope for.
But one word also comes to my mind at these times. "Wait." That one word can cause so much distress in my soul. I am not a very patient person most of the time. But i do know that it is the Lord whispering that one little word to me. "Wait."
We are to wait patiently for the things we hope for and can't see. The thoughts of today are "NOW", "HURRY UP", and probably "GET A MOVE ON ALREADY!" But in the midst of all this, one word can be heard. "Wait."
Waiting with patience on what you hope for means putting it in Gods hands and realizing that it will happen in HIS timing. Not yours. We can't hurry God. He makes things happen when He feels it is the right time. IF left to us the outcome wouldn't be as joyful as it is when we take the time to wait and pray to the Lord about His timing.0 Comments 309 weeks

Here's the recepie for that Pizza Dip. Cover the bottom of an 8x8 inch round pan with 8 oz of softened cream cheese. Spread Pizza sauce over top of that. Cover with mozzarella cheese and a little cheddar or whatever you like. Then top with chopped pepperoni or your favorite pizza topping. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Enjoy! I like it best with ritz or club crackers. James eats it with chips. There ya go, Sarah!!!! Happy Birthday!!!!
