Zdenek Sam Simota was born on the 04th May 1985 and now lives in Babice, Czech Republic with his family.

The Former Reading Racer and Peterborough Panthers Elite League rider. Will be continuing to ride for AK Plzen in the Czech ExtraLeauge as well as the Polish Second Division League team Orzel Lodz. New for 2009, Sam has joined the Danish Team Brovst, this will be his first season in the Danish League and he hopes to use this opportunity to progress further in his career and gain experience with some fantastic international riders.

    SOMERSET REBELS 10TH ANNIVERSARY MEETING- 19th March 2010 Sam returns to the UK for the first time in 2010 where he will be riding at the Somerset Rebels on the 19th March. Somerset Speedway will be holding a memorial service to the late Emil Kramer at the Oak Tree Arena on Friday 19th March, service to commence at 5.45pm followed the 10 Year Anniversary Meeting starting at 7.15pm, with the pre-meeting rider parade taking place at 7pm. Go and support Sam!! He hopes to see you all there!!!!

    M6 TROPHY - WEDNESDAY 28TH OCTOBER 2009 Birmingham Brummies 45 vs Stoke Potters 48 (Stoke Potters win on aggregate 102-86) Sam returned to the UK to replace former Birmingham rider Rober Ksiezak in the 2nd leg round of the M6 Trophy. The Potters won on aggregate 102-86 at Birmingham. After suffering engine problems on Sunday, Sam and his Simota Speedway team has worked hard to ensure that all was well for Wednesday night. Sam showed true class on the night and produced some of the great rides. He fought right to the end with only failing to score a point in heat nine but overall, he produced a great score of 10 + 1.     DANISH LEAGUE - 26th August 2009 Brovst Speedway Club (38) vs Holsted (49) 2. Sam Simota (0,d,2,1,2*,0,0) 5+1 The top of the league team Holsted held Brovst and a below par performance from Sam, but Holsted out performed Brovst with team captain Pedersen, and the rest of the team all producing sold riding, a Brovst team were never able to match them on the night.
