Official Team Rules/Standards of Etiquette

"footbag is traditionally a game of courtesy."


-NO SELF SERVES!
When the bag drops near you you must pick it up and toss it to someone else in the circle. DO NOT toss it to yourself. Tossing it to someone else with your foot is questionable as well.

-KEEP REBATES TO A MINNIMUM AND NEVER(!!!) REQUEST A REBATE

A rebate is when there is a bad serve or the person served to wasn't paying attention or the hack just never got started for any reason, the server has the option to serve it again to that player. The player it was served to is NEVER allowed to ask for a rebate, toss it to the server for a rebate, and ESPECIALLY kick the sack on the floor for a rebate.

-THERE ARE NO SORRIES IN HACKY SACK!

Everyone makes mistakes, especially when learning, so sorries are unneccissary and they get really annoying after a while.

-NO HANDS ARMS OR SHOULDERS!

You're not allowed to hit it with your hands and arms at all but depending on the circle shoulders are allowed every now and then. Just keep it to a minnimum.

-NO MAKING FUN OF PEOPLE IN THE CIRCLE!
