This week has been awful. It started on Monday night with me getting gastro, now it is Friday and the girls have it too. I had the boys home from school Tues, Wed, Thurs and now the girls. When will it end??????? Have just spent 2 hours disinfecting everything, hopefully that will end the germ invasion. I have only eaten toast and soup all week, and am feeling a little blah. Connor had his first game of rugby league last Saturday for Runaway Bay, and he looked so cute in his uniform. Will upload a pic of him, i was so proud. James had his first game of the season too and they got thrashed 60-4. I'm just glad they are out of the house twice a week for training and pretty much all day saturday, so it gets them off the playstation.
Things are a bit tense at work, with alot of people considering leaving unless something is done about the power trip a certain person is on. The oldest serving staff are being treated like dirt, with 5 new staff getting all the good shifts. We're a bit over it. Gonna do something about it next week when the boss gets back from holidays.
Off to work tonight, not really in the mood, but should be a good night.

Lots of negative energy is surrounding people I care about lately. things seem to be going bad every which way i turn. I have Bron with her broken ankle and a 1 year old at home to look after, Caroline with the cancellation of her Family Day care contract, Cherryl with her marriage breakdown and worst of all is Amber with her little neice fighting in hospital at only a week old. My saying at the moment is that i'd love to ask someone what's new, and for them to say "nothing". While i have total understanding and compassion for people in hard times, having been through plenty myself, my mind is just reeling trying to spread my thoughts to all these people. On top of that, I am going through my own little mid year crisis, with the anniversary of charlotte's death approaching on Monday. We went to the cemetary on Sunday 7th, her birthday, and left some flowers as we do each year. The hardest part i think is seeing all the new graves since 1 year before. It breaks my heart. My kids are so good, they go around fixing up the little trinkets left on other plaques, straightening up windmills etc. It has become part of life to them, I don't even remember telling them about it, they just grew up knowing about their big sister.
To take things up a notch, we are having staff photo's this arvo at work, coz we have spanky new uniforms, so that should be a laugh and a half.
