About Me

Me, Myself, and I
I can't be defined by one thing and I like that. I'm a wife to Kris and a mother to three beautiful kids. I love to read and write and listen to great music. I like art and poetry, especially when created by one of the talented people I get to call my friends. I love being outdoors. I enjoy watching movies, drinking cocktails and cooking great food. I like having a glass of wine with my Girl Squad and remembering how important they are to me. I like the way my babies smell fresh from the bath. I like making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for my son who says I make them perfect every time. I like playing dress-up with my daughter and reading the same book fourteen times in a row just so she can laugh at the same picture over and over again. I like catching an early morning, in-between-awake-and-asleep smile from my baby girl because I believe she saves them special, just for me.
Music
I LOVE music. I couldn't imagine my life with out it. I pity those who live day to day with out the pleasure of listening to a song that makes them get goose bumps. I'm lucky enough to have lots of songs that make me do just that! My songs are a time line of my life. I can tell you exactly what I was doing when I first heard certain music. My own little audio scrapbook.
I listen to a wide range of music ranging from Journey and Johnny Cash, to Pedro the Lion and Pinback. If you've found a new band that you think I would like you should let me know. I love adding new sounds to my already too full iPod.

Films
I'm a HUGE movie buff. Our home DVD collection exceeds 700 titles. My husband and I have attended the Sundance Film Festival for eight years in a row where we've seen world premeires of Donnie Darko, Memento, Super Size Me, 28 Days Later and others, some of which have yet to be released. It's a great tradition, one which I look forward to every January.
Sports
Ick. The only good thing about sports is that Chelsea will come hang out with me on Monday nights!
Drinks
Vodka, Jegermeiser..staples, that's for sure! I also like Diet Dr. Pepper, Frosty's from Wendy's and Sconecutter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Shakes. And of course I have to give it up for the Pumpkin Spice Latte from 7-11! Yummy!
TV
I'm completely OUT on anything reality, unless it's medical related like anything on the Discovery Health Channel or TLC where they are showing open heart surgery or when a guy falls off the roof and gets impaled by a fence post and he lives to tell about it.


I love Adult Swim on cartoon network and I love The Family Guy, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken. Of course we can't forget the o.g., The Simpsons...Gotta give it up. I'm a huge fan of Ned Flanders. He's so hilarious without even trying.

I'm also completely addicted to Six Feet Under (even though it's over now..boohoo!), The Sopranos, Deadwood and Big Love. I love Extras, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Entourage as well. HBO can do no wrong in my book!


I'm also sucked into some 'regular' TV shows too. I love House, M.D., Medium, Lost, and THE OC!! Oh, and Jack Bauer can save me any day of the week! I know it sometimes takes some rediculous plot twists but I've invested so much time already in the 24 se
Dislikes
I can't stand bad drivers...so basically I need to move out of Utah. I don't like rap music, George W. Bush, or people who lie. I've also never been a huge fan of the color pink...I'm not quite sure why that is...
