Coolio mate, we are gonna start in thailand do chang mai and pai then go to Huay Xai to, I think, get a slow boat down the mekong to Pak Beng. There is a 3 day trek in Chang Mai we are gonna try and do and think prob a couple of days in Pai. Not really to sure about much else. Not sure where's best to catch up might even be best to meet in Chang Mai if you guys finish Laos but we will find a way. Hows it going anyway? You eatin a tarantula yet? Think i need to do it to get over the whole spider fear thing. Cant wait to have a few beers with yous. We are finally nearing the end of our Leonora prison sentence. 2 weeks left here!! Woohoo! Howdy! Yep we have been working out our dates and all that. We are going to fly into Bangkok 10th May and then get the train straight up to Chang Mai where we will go to Pai for 2 days then head back to Chang Mai to do a 3 day hike thing into the Hilltribes then from there head into Laos. Does that sound alright to you guys. We can meet you in Chang Mai if you want? Hope you have been enjoying all your egg flied lice and stawbewwy cheesecake

Good to hear your still living up the holiday. I'll see if I can con dad into splitting the trip with me. I went for an army interview the other day and now have to go to Canberra for an officer interview, would be mad to get in, I'm trying for aviation (helicopter pilot - eventually) but don't really care where they decide to put me. Enlistment isn't until July so there shouldn't be a problem. Enjoy you trip dude. Peace in the middle east!
