Well, this is the first time I have wrote a journal of any kind. I thought I would give it a bash as it sounds like an ideal way for people to keep posted of what we are all up to!
I guess where I will start is from uni, graduated in July '04 after 5 long, but fantastic years! Pretty soon after that i went to Cyprus for my brothers wedding where my brother and I were best men, exceedingly hot! Then soon after that I moved to Bedford for a job with QinetiQ. For those who dont know, QinetiQ is ex MoD and deals with mainly research work for the MoD and some civilian contractors. The work is challenging but very interesting, so I am very happy with what I am doing! Some boys from my course moved down here after a few months and have made the life down here alot better and more interesting than what it was! Regular at mission night club and the Rose and occasionally you will find us in Nexus or the Square. In addition to those boys I have made some excellent new friends down here, but I am still striving, but mostly failing, to keep in touch with friends in Scotland but hope to remedy that over the near future!
I have also just joined the TA, as a signaller! Going to see how it goes at the bottom but might consider going for my commission as a officer in a year or so. Not done much yet as only been in a few weeks, and I have my medical on the 5th of March! Cough!
In my spare time, not including the night life, is taken up by attempting to go to the gym. Which I find is a great method of de-stressing after a busy day or just to clear my mind! Other than that, the usual TV and books!
As a final point, if any one finds themselves in this part of the world or fancies getting in touch feel free. Its always good to hear from people!
