I’m happy to say that an official ex-Gospel Scholars Committee has been formed in May this year. Committee Members are as follows;
As our first fundraiser, we have kicked start with 10 cent-a-vote cards ending on the 15th August 2009. The aim of this committee is to contribute to the school, as well as have yearly events organized for the ex-scholars to get together and enjoy.
We hope to have your support in our fundraisers and urge you to attend events organized for ex-scholars here in Fiji and abroad in order to keep the school spirit alight.
At the meantime please dig deep in those pockets and give generously. Also there is a get-together on the 15th of August at the school. So I’ll keep you all updated on that and other upcoming events as they come along.
Thank you and God Bless!

MISS Novotel Moana Bergmaier-Masau will advocate children's rights and their responsibilities at the Vodafone Hibiscus Festival.
Ms Masau, 23, works as a temporary laboratory research assistant for the Secretariat of the Pacific Community.
She is also doing her post-graduate studies in bio-technology at the University of the South Pacific.
Moana's father is part German and Spanish while her mother is from Qoma Island in Tailevu.
She hopes to gain exposure and is challenging herself to do a new thing while entering this year's Hibiscus Festival.
"This is a good opportunity to meet different people from all walks of life and it will also be a learning experience for me," Ms Masau said.
She lists her hobbies as reading, sewing, singing, socialising and participating in community work.
Ms Masau was motivated by her family and friends to join this year's festival. Her favourite quote is from Mahatma Gandhi-- "You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
"I believe the quote is self-explanatory and you must be the one willing and doing the change you wish to see," she said.

A 90s decade Pre-School Development Committee has been formed which is a sub-committee of the main 90s Committee with the sole purpose of the refurbishment of the Gospel Schools kindergarten at Samabula and Nasinu.
The immediate project is fencing of the Samabula kindergarten and other maintenance upgrade like painting of classroom walls, fixing of toilets etc will follow suit. As for Nasinu Gospel School, the sub-committee will contact them in time for necessary assistance needed for the kindergarten.
The sub-committee will be organizing four major fundraising dinners. The first fundraiser will be held on Friday 20 April, 2012 at the Vineyard Restaurant from 6.30pm. Tickets are being sold at $20.00 each.
