  • why stopping time around you would be a great thing...

    i sometimes wish i could just stop time, just get out of the rat race. just imagine this: you have had a hard day. not even stuffing your face over lunch helped. you are tired, edgy, fed up, iritable, and bound to blow up in an unsuspecting face, most likely, the wrong unsuspecting face. now being able to make time stop can give you a chance to calm down, relax, rest, maybe even work on what you are supposed to work on, but with no pressure.

    but that's not reality. besides, if i had the power to do that, wouldn't it just be selfish gains that i will follow with this ability? i have been given the live i lead, and making the best of it should be (part of) my mission. bailing out won't help. waiting around, hoping problems will sort themselves out is not going to change a single thing, except maybe your expectancy level, and over the long-term, the trauma that this induced on you.

    we are the writers of the story of our lives. maybe you prefer to have a less exciting story, but it does not mean that it should be boring. make the best of every moment, live up to your full potential, even if it is just keeping your seat warm....do it better than anyone else.

    now to start time again...can't keep on bailing out like this...
