Kart,
Well i have updated some pictures of the kart.
I have the basic sub-frame all welded into place with the seat mounted. Its from an old Landy, Defender. Its well comfy! It is on its origional sub frame so its totaly ajustable. There is still a bit of bracing to go onto the role hoop and a bar between the uprights. Still looking for an engine, axel and wheels tho........

The story so far!
Just been practacing my welding tonight, its a bit sketchy but gettign there. Using the full 100amp welder, makes a reasonable job, might have to use a V root gap method(make a grove fromt he weld to sit in and a small gap between the butts) To provide a stronger join. Grinder is a god send for cutting the crap welds off! Almost set the garage on fire tho... a spark hit some steel wool and burned a hole in a plastic box oops!!
Just w8ign for Rob to draw the plans up on cad so i can start cutting the members for the frame.
