Marianne Gorman11/21/07Not bad thanks. I have known alot of people who haved moved to London lately must be the place to be. I finally finished uni in June and somehow got a degree in archaeology. I am currently working on a dig not far from home which is a bonus. It is for 6 months so until March and then it is back to the Science Centre for a while as I still do the odd weekend shift for them and will need money coming in. I am saving for a big holiday hopefully heading for the southern hemisphere for a while. I have an aunt and uncle in Oz and a couple of my friends are moving to New Zealand where I have always wanted a go and now I have even more reason too. That is if I have enough money glad to hear things are good see you xx

Jenny H7/12/07Hey Im doing a physics degree, well Im starting anyway. I think it will prob take about 10 years at this rate but its better than nothing. How on earth did you make 20000 planets a day? what kind of styff are you doing at the church? Are you enjoying it? x

Stephen McDerment6/20/07Only a couple of weeks til some proper relaxing in France - I know you'll be looking forward to it as much as us, because you're even busier than us. Will be good to have a proper chance to catch up on how London's been treating you. Seems like ages since we last caught up properly. Oh yeah, and just for the record 'leisure' is an important part of Christian living too. Don't let the workaholics around you forget that. I've even got a 'proof passage': Hebrews 4 vv9-11 Would make an interesting Bible study for those in Christian leadership methinks! I look forward to sharing in some of that rest time with you. Will be good to catch up.

It's been a torrid time for the 5th years as free periods have been driven into extinxtion, just when i had to start it!! we now get a pe and an re period once a week instead of it. i'm doing maths, english, modern studies(which is the easiest subject ever invented), french (c'est bien) and physics, it's a lot of homework but good fun. good to know ur enjoying cornhill and hope all goes well one of many Stephens

Blair Scott6/13/07yeah I know - it is actually working!!! I told someone about our bridge idea - can't remember if it was Alasdair Smart or a customer - probably the latter we like to freak them out and joke with them like telling them about the 100m freefall to get back down lol

Jenny H6/12/07Hey. Nice to hear back from you.
People have been adding me to this for years and then ui realised that there were quite a lot of people from school here so I thought I would join up. Must be quite a culture shock to be down in London from sleepy St Andrews. Though I do still envy you that you managed to go!! What was the degree like? Do you think your going to do anything with it or are you quite enjoying what your doing with the church? Im good thanks. Just about to move and stuff so got to put everything back in boxes again, but it should be a move for the better. Started an OU course too which Im enjoying and feel like Im actually doing something useful, other than knowing whats going on in Neighbours! My ME is still hanging about and I dont seem to be getting any better at the moment but I do what I can and enjoy all the little things
xx

OK so Ive booked my flights to london (i know i know climate fun but hey in my work Ive offset 500 plus tonnes so Im allowed!) Im not getting in till like 9 in the evening on the Wed 13th. BOOOOOO My Mum and Dad offered to get my a hotel but its so dear and I was going to stay with my mate Kate but think its best to spend night in airport since I need to check in for flight at 7:15 the next morning. Im always terrified of missing my flight. On the return leg ive booked on a flight to Newcastle that leaves like an hour after my flight lands (Fri 29th)but Im almost certain Im going to miss it so Ive booked the megabus for 4 in the afternoon leaving me like 8 hours in london pissing about. Any availability then Mr? x

Senny D5/30/07Alright Stephen mate how you doing? Been pure busy lately with work but in the middle of a two-week holiday. Just got back from Athens after seeing the Champions' League final - what an amazing experience. Ticket was extortionate though. Will be in London this weekend to see England-Brazil at Wembley and possibly also taking in the Derby at Epsom if there's tickets going. We should definitely meet up the next time you come back up here. Take care mate.
