hmmmm my life...well ive only been around for 17 yrs so not all that much to tell it has to be said. was born, learnt to walk talk etc, made friends, went and still go to school and thats about where my life is right now. exciting i know
have been known to dress up as and pretend to be a pirate!

  • SYD BARRET shine on

    as many of you may or may not be aware syd barret one of the original members of pink floyd was found dead earlier this week. the band spokesperson said that he died at the age of 60 due to complications with his diabetes on july 7th 2006 cambridgshire.
    born in cambridge in 1946 as rodger keith barret he got the name 'syd' at the age of 15 at cambridge county school for boys.syd worked with pink floyd for many years writting some of their best work such as the alum piper at the gates of dawn. syd sadly developed a drug problem taking lsd making his behavior too unpredictable for the rest of the band to work with and in 1968 syds involvment in the band ended. he continued to work solo for another 4 years. in 1975 pink floyd recorded wish you were here an album in which the song shine on you crazy diamond was writen about syd. at one of the recording session in abbey road studios syd was spotted listening into the recording session of shine on however at the time none of the other band members recognised him as syd had gained weight and shaved off all his hair, when roger waters realised he was so upset it reduced him to tears.
    syd was never really understood in this life and lived out his final 20 years as a recluse.
    i gues what this blog is simply saying is that we love syd and without him so many things would be different for the worse. we will always love you syd and im just sorry this life didnt treat you the way you deserved. we miss you syd and shall never forget you

    ha ha, my pops doesnt even know mine exists!!! states, wow, lucky you and dublin sounds fab! surgery!! eek! what you been doing to yourself?? im doing the same, working in a doctors surgery, childminding to :D and working behind a bar its a great laigh, doing horsey stuff and going to shows most weekends and stuff and trying to save some penies to :D xXx
