After my return from Hefei (Stephen's hometown) I will be uploading more wedding pictures. This should answer the questions I received about my parents being at the wedding. They were at the first one but not the second one. We also took photos for a wedding album so dressed up (including hair and make-up) three times in various outfits. I should be back in early February and still have almost three weeks before school starts again.

Well I made it through my first semester in Kunming. It was challenging but not quite as challenging as other terms in China. We had a fun Christmas party and I am beginning to make some new friends. We are also adjusting to married life. Our school is far from the city center where Stephen works so he doesn't like that too much but "Mei you banfa" (No other way to solve the problem - What can we do?) The campus is much quieter now that almost all the students are gone but it will be even quieter in a few days when the office shuts down for about six weeks.
We will be traveling to his hometown at the end of January for just over a week to spend the New Year holiday with his family. That place is much colder than here.

Since we (Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Liang) are living and working in Kunming (Yunnan Province) we had to have a wedding banquet here for our co-workers and family. So, on October 12th we did. It was a lot of fun and very different from the wedding in Hefei (Anhui Province) in August.
I wore the same dress and finally had a chance to throw the bouquet. A rainbow appeared during the receiving line time and the hotel provided a traditional carrier for the bride (including the red scarf hiding the bride's face). We spoke the vows again as an example of an American wedding. All in all it was a lot of fun and very rowdy.
