  • Fall Out Boy star breaks foot onstage

    From NME.com

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz broke his foot onstage at the Voodoo Music Experience festival in New Orleans on October 28, and has posted a picture of the injury online.

Writing on his blog, beneath a picture of his swollen, bruised foot, Wentz, who once considered a career as a footballer, revealed that he broke his foot by dancing too frenetically, but the injury would not force the band to cancel any shows.

"For anyone who was at the Voodoo Fest, you got to see me jump around," he wrote. "I ended up breaking the bone that connects my shin to my foot.

"No shows will be cancelled. I am currently trying to get a 'rocker' boot, so I can have a walking cast. Currently my foot is the size of a small car. If you see me at a show come sign my cast."

  • Facts About Fall Out Boy

When writing songs, Patrick Stump first writes the music, then Pete Wentz writes the lyrics. Finally, the material is put together by the whole band so everyone contributes to the song.

One of Fall Out Boy's pre-show rituals is high-fiving each other. Pete Wentz has said that they have had weird shows when they have not done this before playing.

In Fall Out Boy's video for A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me, William Beckett and Mike Carden of The Academy Is..., Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes and Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith of Panic! At The Disco were featured as vampires. Beckett also plays the vampire in the video for This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race.

Infinity On High is Fall Out Boy's first album to reach and debut at #1.

Patrick, Andy and Joe did not know the title of their album Infinity On High until Pete reported it to MTV News and they read the article.

The video for This Ain't A Scene; It's An Arms Race, thought up by bassist Pete Wentz and director Alan Ferguson, is a parody of all the rumors and scandals the band has been tied too.

Fall Out Boy is trying to make peace with rival rock band The Killers. Wentz says that he likes Killers frontman Brandon Flowers from what he's read and likes how Flowers call FOB "dangerous."

Even though Fall Out Boy is sometimes classified as "emo music," they don't like being called that.

Bassist Pete Wentz has his own clothing industry (Clandestine Industries), vanity music label (Decaydance), and production company (Bartskull).

Joseph Trohman is the only member of the band who is not straight-laced.

Patrick Stump played drums in bands he was in before FOB.

Pete Wentz and Joseph Trohman are Star Wars fans.

Drummer Andrew Hurley is a vegan.

Bassist Pete Wentz took piano lessons as a child.

Bassist Pete Wentz says that the band are good guys who don't smoke or do drugs or mess around with groupies, or any of the other debaucheries that some bands participate in. He says that they are boring guys who read books and watch DVDs.

Original names also considered for Fall Out Boy were: Short Story, Unhappy Ending, and Forget Me Not.

Fall Out Boy is the first artist to reach 10 million plays on purevolume.com.

  • FallOutBoy- Pop or Rock?

    Mighty Mouse by Mighty Mouse
I dont know wether you have noticed but Fall out boy are turning pop-punk.

The new album ( Infinity on High ) is more popish than the ohter albums,Fall out Boy's Evening out With your Girlfriend, Take this to your Grave and From Under The cork tree.

All so Fall out Boy are increasingly doing features with hip-hop bands such as Timbaland and Jay-Z.

Fall out Boy before all the attention used to be all rock and people loved the music and a tad of Pete Wentz.
But now the band are more publicised and just soak in all the attention instead of making the music.

Pete Wentz is a good bassist but people see him more of an attractive male rather than a good musician.

    I want the old Fall out Boy back;
    Do you?
