I like way too much to list here but from a DJ point of view I love Funky, Electro, Twisted House music, classic dance anthems and old stuff.

February 2008
I should start this months blog by mentioning that it was my intention to post this on Friday 29th February 2008, unfortunately, my hectic social calendar got in the way...as did the rest of the weekend. You'll just have to settle for Monday 3rd March instead.
Additionally I should intimate that I am still available. Despite much controversy, the 29th has come and gone without a single proposal, other than a night out for dinner at Red Bowl in Troon (it was a good meal and the company was fantastic).
While unusually longer than normal, it's been a quick month, it seems fitting that I should keep this contribution short.
February was much more than I had bargained for, in the best way possible. Being subject to a NDA, I sadly can't divulge any further information relating to these particular events.
I like to think that I know my readers well, so I will elaborate on one tiny detail. NDA stands for Non Disclosure Agreement, that saves some of you from having to look it up or be left wondering.
Saturday 23rd February I went time travelling. Myself and two very close friends ventured to Club de Mar in Ayr. It's like the old Hamilton Palace on speed. This made for another fantastic night out and again the company was brilliant. All I can say is, what happens in Club de Mar stays in Club de Mar.
Gillian and I were introduced to the Noodle Bar in Kilmarnock. It's good. I mean it's better than I expected and despite what you might think, you do only need one portion. It's reasonably priced and there's also one in Ayr.
The wee green corsa has now been affectionately nic-named 'The Hulk', ironic that there is absolutely no muscle to it whatsoever.
On the car front, another high point in February was placing the order for my new car. A low point was being told that it would take 12 weeks for delivery. It gives me something else to look forward to.
While there hasn't been a great deal of content this time around, it's been a good month for me and I'm looking forward to see how it develops. With a bit of luck I'll be able to bring you some news by the end of March.
Like the Utah Saints said in 1992, 'Something Good is gonna happen', let's hope so. The 2008 remix is also my tune of the month.

January 2008
We're approaching the end of January 2008. So let's have a look at how the year has started for me.
I should stress at this early stage I don't think this is going to be the same gripping read you all told me the last one was. What can I say sometimes the best stories are the true ones.
This is the year I've promised it's all going to take off, you know, the year that A Class and GLM Events will actually be able to start paying me for all the work I do.
Towards the end of last year I was alerted to a golden opportunity that would see an increase in disco business at a higher rate and already I've fallen at the first hurdle! I haven't made any effort to contact this organisation so it's already looking like 2008 will be much like 2007 and every other year has been for A Class DISCO. To top it off, that's my only real resolution 'Follow up leads and actually do the things you say you will' blown to pieces.
On the face of it everything else seems to be going pretty well...but let's have a look at some of the facts.
I'm still driving that wee green Corsa. While this is technically saving me a small fortune each month, it's depressing me all the same. I miss the comfort and enjoyment of actually driving the C4, not to mention the performance difference to this temperamental 'green-friendly' beast. It's not a get up and go car, it takes nearly as long to warm up in the morning as I do to brush my teeth. I'm more of a 'stick the keys in and go' kind of a guy. This isn't really working for me: I'm late at the best of times, I don't need any further delays. I have to constantly encourage it to pull away at round-abouts and junctions, forget about the outside lane. If I even think about putting my foot down, the 'Orange Light of Doom' illuminates the dash warning me that if I don't remove my right foot from the accelerator immediately, we're going nowhere.
It also seems to have some kind of leak. Every morning the interior is damp and the windows never clear of condensation despite the fact that the fan and de-mister have been on full for the entire journey (which on average is 15% longer) and I arrive at my destination looking like I've just stepped out of the sun-beds. A direct advantage of this being that a lot of people are telling me how well I look.
I'm fed up of talking about the wee car, even with all it's flaws, it still gets me from A-C.
"A-C" I hear you say, that's because 'B' is usually the side of the road or the hard shoulder as I've had to pull in while I wait for the engine to warm up and actually go.
This could all be easily solved if I was prepared to settle for an affordable new car, but I've made up my mind on a new car and I'm not prepared to compromise on the specification. Based on my current rate of pay at DAKOTA and my rate of saving I'll be able to make the deposit around June 2009.
I'm working less which was one of my desires but that's coupled with less earnings. This obviously has an adverse effect on the 'buying a new car' topic above. I'm also really starting to tire of working at DAKOTA. I've spent some time trying to work out what's causing that.
Could it be:
- Death & Taxes: You work more hours, you get taxed more. Where's the logic. People on benefits don't seem to suffer from the same scale of economy.
- Some things never change: Everyday there are the same issues in work. Missing equipment, notably teaspoons, dessert spoons and soup sp...hold on a second, EVERY variety of spoons, sauce boats and soup bowls.
- Party Poopers: This next bit might come across as a bit hypocritical considering my earlier rant about the car. Nevertheless, I like to think I arrive at work feeling positive, energetic and generally enthusiastic about what it is I do. Why is it other people feel the need to try and drag you down in work, you know the kind of people I'm talking about, they more often than not fill every silence.
