  • So-called English Bar in Beijing

    I went to an English bar around the embassy area last weekend. It was said the most famous english bar in Beijing, but it was so disappointing.

    The facility and furnitures were like something being used for centuries. I only saw fish&chips in the menu---was that why it is called an English Bar?

    The most strange thing was that they sold Mexican food out side the bar and hung up a huge banner there, which made the English Bar look more "international". :D

    There was one thing that remembered me something about Britain---The Guinness. I had one pint, no Froster though.

    There should be other English bars better than this one in Beijing.
