Hey Michelle, Ok so I still haven't heard about that place you were on about. But from my research of asking three newly aquiented americans. Americans seem to accumulate at Gort na Coiribe. It is a really nice place and I have quite a few friends there. Link is http://www.gortnacoiribe.com/

Just make sure the accomodation is cheap but not shit basically. Try get a place on westside of Galway (but not too far from NUIG) or in town. Then you'll be right in the thick of it all! Problem about the natives is you never know who you'll get. I don't know if its the same case for sticking with your own kind. School's great this year! So much fun stuff around, you wait and see!

Well well michelle! How are ya? to be honest I have never heard of the place before. Just looked up the place on the internet and realised from a little map thing that it's close to where my friend lives. I can ask him monday if he knows about it. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to do some snooping and find out about the place. I'll just stop random americans in the street and ask where they stay. They do make up about half the student population of Galway! I actually live in a house owned by my friend's dad. Have you tried looking up Galway student accomodation on the interweb? ---> Gort na Coiribe, Cuirt na Coiribe, Menlo Park, Lisdonagh Appartments, Dún Áras Appartments. I can tell you about all.
