Established: After Irelands sensational win over Pakistan in the world cup (a huge shock considering Ireland were as high as 22/1 to win the game) I decided to give something back to the community that has given me so much...a few things popped into my head firstly such as setting up a hockey club or setting up the first uni-sex rugby club in Ireland (how fun would that be) but then i thought how about a cricket club...it is the most rapidly growing sport in Ireland, i think, so i said what to hell. And there you have it the starting blocks of the Abbeyfeale cricket club.

Colours: We dont actually have a strip as such at the moment so were just playing shirt and skins..god bless the poor fuckers that have to play as skins...OUCH

Home grounds: Yet again we dont really have a pitch although rubys car park was the venue for the first game, all be it that it was only me and seanie scanell playing....with no bats or stumps...imagination is a really powerful tool when used right!!!!
