- Me, Myself, and I
- Hailing from Dundee, The Law formed initially to write and play songs as a means of avoiding the perils and pitfalls of everyday life. The results – instantly memorable bittersweet stomping songs – show it was well worth the agony. Consisting of Stuart Purvey (vocals), Stevie Anderson (guitar), Martin Donald (drums), and Simon Donald (bass), the band are firm favourites amongst a city finding itself buoyant with rock’n’roll belief and desire.
Their debut album was released in September 09 to instant acclaim. It received great support from the likes of BBC Radio1, BBC 6Music and XFM. More recently the band have been enjoying some success in America with two of their tracks, ‘The Man in The Moon’ and ‘Still Got Friday to Go’ being used on the hit US show GREEK. Their single ‘Don’t Stop, Believe’ has also been used on the international trailer for ‘The Men Who Stare at Goats’ starring George Clooney. The same track has also received plays on KROQ (L.A.) and KUSF (San Francisco)
