    • Educating The World about the great Stefan Dennis

      Toward the end of the 80's, the pop scene had become stagnant. Most music buyers had become disillusioned by the number of 'one hit wonders' dominating the charts and were desperately seeking a new act.
      On the 6th of May 1989, a song was released which rescued the world of pop music from certain extinction. That song was none other than Stefan Dennis's 'Don't it make you feel good' backed with the equally special 'Solo Dancing'
      Music critics world wide declared Feel Good and Solo Dancing as two works of genious. Many said this should have been a double A side. This critically aclaimed debut not only thrilled adults and teenagers but was also a major influence for other artists:

      "When I first heard Dennis's 'feel good' it made me think what made me feel good! Answer - New York, New York" - Frank Sinatra, New York Times

      "Solo Dancing made me remember my days dancing alone on the Green Green Grass back in Wales" - Tom Jones, Rolling Stone Magazine

      Fans now demanded more which gave Dennis perhaps the greatest challenge of his whole career - how to follow such a success? His answer - 'This love affair'
      Undoubtably Dennis' finest hour, a sure fire instant number 1, so good that it used the same song for the B side. However it was not to be. Record company bosses in conjuction with Bouncer from Neighbours plotted corruption to clear a space for new blond haired young faced Chesney Hawkes to be the one and only. They noticed that Dennis was becoming wise to his amazing talents and feared that he would soon take charge of his own business and flood the charts with his marvelous tunes and realised that he must be removed from the pop scene.
      The outcome. All promotion of This love Affair was axed, Dennis's contract was terminated and his second single stayed for one week only at number 67.
