Well, this time next week I will be waiting in Amsterdam for the plane to Detroit. That's going to be SOO boring! I'm going to have to wait 6 hours in Amsterdam! Yuck! Oh well. They have plenty of stores there, so I can do some shopping. Well, just looking. Not too much shopping.

I was kind of discouraged the other day thinking about my trip. Just because I thought God was going to do some drastic work in my life while I was over here. Well, nothing drastic had took place, so I was disappointed (not a good thing). I wasn't disappointed in the Lord, just myself. Like maybe I hadn't done something that I needed to and that's why nothing had happened.

I felt sort of empty, like I'd hit a wall. I couldn't get over it. I just was really sad.

I started reading the 2nd Supernatural: Bro. Branham book on Tuesday, and I finished it this morning. Putting that together with Bro. Strommen's messages. I have really learned a lot this trip.

Just because we are Christians does not mean we have to be perfect. That is just what we need to strive for. Seeking Him will help us to get there, because we will be so caught up in doing that, we won't have time to make all the mistakes. But we are still human, and we will make mistakes.

It's about getting our heart right. Making sure we are doing things with the right motives. And as long as you have that honest desire to serve Him, He will make a way for you.

That's so reassuring for me. Because I see in my life, I'm not as humble as I should be. But I know that I do desire that from Him. I know he will supply. I don't have anything I need to worry about. Of course the devil would like to tell me that I'll never become how I should be. But God tells me otherwise. And that is all that counts. As long as I always have faith in Him, He won't let me down.

So, this trip has been totally what I've wanted it to be. I may not be a totally different person. But now I am more confident in striving to get there.

WOW! I am in NORWAY!! This is SOOO awesome! I really want to use this time to get closer to God. How much better could it be? Not having to worry about work, or anything else. Just taking time to talk to Him. That's all I want to take out of this trip, just the fact that I can honestly call God a close friend. I'm looking forward to that! It's just kinda sad that I had to take a trip to Norway in order to realize how much I really did need that. I'm just glad that God hasn't given up on me and He continues to deal with my heart!
