- There once was a befreckled tomboy called Jo. She grew up in assorted gangtowns of the lower north island. she enjoyed a typical kiwi childhood of backyard cricket, mr whippy and saturday morning netball. she spent 5 wondrous years at MGC where, under the sage guidance of her loony friends, learnt the comic value of a woo-hoo stick and drinking whisky at 6am. A brief stint in Shrewsbury brought her no closer to obtaining an English accent or a corgi. 4 glorious but geeky years at Vic Uni ensued. Jo's character was enriched by strange and beautiful people. Oh, and the booze helped too. Now in Korea (the good half), she's flapping her arms and mooing like a cow in attempt to teach Korean munchkins how to speak English. She spends her time running, writing, guitaring and dreaming of drinkable tap water.

Martha11/15/07Hey! Korea, ay? How is that going? I know Alice and Cabbie both considered that path at one point, and TESOL is definitely something I wouldn't rule out for my future. How are you finding it? Are you picking up any Korean? I'm working in London at the mo, it's very exciting to be living in such a famous city! Hope you're well and happy

Was so strange leaving Wellington - I feel like I left half of myself behind! Am going up north to the beach for the weekend and then Mum and I are going up to the Cape which will be awesome cos I've never been there before. And I'm done with uni officially!!!!!!!!!! Woohooooo!!!! Hope the Koreans are still treating ya well. And who knows, maybe we'll meet up with each other in some exotic location!!! xxxxxxxxxxx

Hey jo! hows tricks with you? i hope your travels are enjoyable and not too full of annoying korean sprogs. I am furiously procrastinating, even though i have to get stuff done by tomorrow, mainly by texting people in the hope that they text back saying 'hey! lets hang out!' and then i can get out of being in front of my desk procrastinating and procrastinate somewhere else. But noone has texted back as yet. I suppose you heard that we lost the rugby. Tracey cried. She really shouldnt have told me about it
Take care George
