hey joy sorry its been a while but have been so busy sorting things out in beijing and getting to know new people and all that. The classes at BeiDa are a fucking night mare i dont think they teach anything easy. so much for a gap year. But have got into the swing of things and am working like hell in the day and going out and having a great time at night so its great fun! will see if i can pop by HK some time with some people from here if i do will give you a buz and see if you are there!! xxx

Yeah very weird not being bk at school coz ellie is there and i am all alone in the house. Joy really don't worry about the friends. Everyone will love you as always, just be yourself and you'll have too many friends you won't have enough time to talk to them all. Cheer up. Alex

You must be so excited about starting Oxford, and although you said you haven't done all your reading, I bet you're completely sorted and will settle in really in an instance!
