Just thought I should update this thing with some sort of Korean thing.
Eh ok
Random fact about Korea number one:
It's entirely legal to rape a transexual. Ok that's not so great.
Random fact about Korea number two:
It is illegal to tattoo anyone unless you hold a medical lisence- apparently they believe tattooing puts lives in danger and therefore should only be practiced by doctors. Can't really imagine my gp tattooing me. It might be a bit odd.
Random fact about Korea number three:
80% of the country is covered in mountains which means only 20% of the country is inhabited- imagine stuffing the population of Ireland 10 times over into an area one fifth the size of Ireland.
Random fact about Korea number four:
A red light may technically mean stop but only if you're doing your driving test. Also a footpath is not only for pedestrians but also cyclists, scooters, ATVs, and on occasion cars.
Random fact about Korea number five:
Kelgogi is dog and apparently a speciality here- one I won't be trying. Poor dog- something close to a huskey I've been told.
Random fact about Korea number six:
Kimchi seems to be their version of potatoes- it's cabbage covered in some red pepper paste and left to marinate or rot or something in the ground for a few weeks/months/years who knows.
Random fact about Korea number seven:
Buku (or fugu as its known in Japan) is pufferfish and is also a delicacy which I don't plan to try cos the country is very lax in its health and safety regulations- seatbelts are apparently only needed by the driver and maybe front seat passenger.
Ok there are more but I gotta go back to work so I'll add them later.0 Comments 232 weeks

The Animal In You!
Oh this is pretty cool I was on this website www.animalinyou.com and took a quiz and it says I'm a wolf and this is what it says about me. Yay!! I'm awesome.
Wolf
Genera and species: Canis lupus
Collective Term: A pack of wolves
Description
The rugged wolf is athletic, good-looking and brims with self-confidence. A close relative of the domestic dog, it is stronger and more aggressive, managing to generate notoriety wherever it marks its territory. The wolf's dark reputation is mainly due to jealousy of its consistent success in work and romance. A wolf in full stride is quite impressive. Firing orders at subordinates while on the phone to customers -- no one can get the job done quite as efficiently as the wolf.
With an innate understanding of the value of teamwork, it's always ready to take its place in the chain of command -- either as leader or as simply a member of the pack. When a wolf decides to innovate, it makes sure that it has the backing of a capable team. In many ways, President Bush is an example of a wolf who owes much of his success to his team of lawyers, advisors, and supporters. This wolf is clear-headed and strong-minded -- always willing to compromise in the interests of getting a job done.
The wolf insists on fidelity from its mate, but even after its partner has sworn its devotion, the wolf must battle its canine hormones that drive it to distraction. On the positive side of the ledger, the wolf makes a gallant effort to remain faithful; satisfying its haunting need for romance through its strong platonic friendships. (At least that's what we're told) Deep down though, the wolf is still a puppy dog and its controlled exterior often masks a sentimental emotional core.
Wolves are facially expressive and readily communicate their emotional states with body language. They work hard at developing their social relationships, although, unlike their cousin the dog, they are quick to anger when they sense threats to the social order. When confrontations occurs, they sometimes react suddenly and violently, barking displeasure at offending subordinates. Close companions know to avoid their biting tongue until they resume their normal gregarious behavior.
Friendly and generous with those they consider to be peers, they have a tendency to show scant regard to those beneath them on the food chain. Sheep, deer, cottontails, prairie dogs and other small mammals are thus advised to show them appropriate respect, or risk being overwhelmed by their aggressive natures.
The wolf pulls no punches when communicating with its peers, for there is nothing that a wolf detests more than a yes-man. The truth must be told and damn the consequences. Those unable to handle its steely straightforward style are quickly relegated to the rear of the pack, while those who demonstrate courage are allowed to run alongside. Lions, eagles, wild dogs, tigers and bears are among the wolf's first choices as teammates in the race of life.

What I'll Miss From New Zealand
So I HAVE left New Zealand and this IS what I miss:
1) L&P- good ould lemon and paeroa, great drink.
2) Pineapple Lumps- of course I'd miss anything with chocolate.
3) The radio stations- especially the Rock, greatest radio station of all time. And it really lives up to it's slogan- MUSIC... It's about the only thing we take seriously- just ask Darren about the time the guy got hit by a bus!
4) The fact that there have been numerous earthquakes and volcanoes during my time here.
5) The Wawas- German Julie (tiny wawa), Rocio (mama wawa), Aroha (wawee), Casandra (wawa junior), Krystel (little wawa), Consuelo (baba wawa), and our times together- feckin hilarious, especially paintball.
6) Chrissy, Greg, Nick, Cassio, Caue and even Boss Julie, but only a little. (My work mates, well they're more than mates at this point, they're good friends)
7) Ellis, Diego, Gordo (even if he did set the hostel on fire), Jorge, Clara, Martin and Lucy. (My temporary family in the Backpackers)
English lessons with Edie.
9) Edvaldo Menino da Silva (Edie).
10) The beaches. Mostly Midway, Kaiti and Sponge Bay ie. the Gisborne beaches but also Piha, Misson Bay (Auckland), Henderson Bay, Paihia, Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), Cathedral Cove, Mt Manganui, Whaketane (Taraunga), all the beaches along the Abel Tasman were absolutely beautiful and looked like something of the front page of a travel brochure and even Napier had it's moments.
11) The Crowd Goes Wild- best NZ sports programme ever- just like all things kiwi it takes nothing serious except the rugby!
12) Not wearing any shoes just jandles almost 100% of the time.
13) The absolutely amazing scenery- Cliffs, Mountains, Gorges, Valleys and again the beaches.
Yeah I'm really going to miss this place!
