hey there! have mostly been chillin in sydney...literally! its freezzin here! ive been invited to go to new zealand to hunt for a few weeks so im off tomorrow! i met this guy a few weeks ago in adelaide and hes from nz and he said that if i went over id get given a horse and free accomm with his family, and his dad is the master so it should be really fun! ill give you all the low down when i get back! alice xx0 Comments 370 weeks

my travels so far!
helloo everybody! just tot that id better update you all on everythng thats happenin down under...sorry bout the photo situation but it doesnt seem to be workin for me! il try a bit harder next time! well ive just arrived in sydney...well about a week ago act! i finsihed my job in adelaide with the polo ponies about 4 weeks ago, had a great time all in all,got to see alot of the country.....its soo different to the country at home......theres not a green blade of grass anywhere....everything is burnt even though were going into winter here! so i spent a wek in adelaide just organisin myself (liz and i had just spent 3 weeks in new south wales- very close to sydney- with the horses competetin....it took two days of non-stop drivin to get there,but it was worth it in the end...i had a great time!) so after about a week of hard goodbye partyin and gettin my tongue pierced i got on a bus to melbourne.
its a cool city but theres only so much you can do there....its very small but has a great vibe about it and is really beautiful.....but absolutely freezing!! i then took a tour bus from melbourne to sydney with other backpackers,it took four days and we went to see all the cool places in between the two cities, there were eight of us altogether, so it was quite a small group but from all over the world....3 english, two swedish, one danish, one kiwi and me.....we all got on really well and our guide was amazin, really funny! went wine tastin which was cool and then we also went up into the snowy mountains where it was snowin....and i didnt have any jackets with me so i just had to put lots of layers on which was inda funny!.....looked like a bit of a twat....! stayed in a health retreat one nite with buddist monks runnin it.......yeah so anyway.....was fine but one nite was defo enough!!! so most of us stayed in the same hostel wen we arrived in sydney and we alll went out that nite...good fun! so that was last week, have seen most of the city so far, its great but its almost too big! i went out to richmond this weekend which is about an hour on the train to visit my friends who are still workin with the polo ponies, was good to catch up with them all but they are all abs lethal with alcohol!....yep! so now im back in sydney with my aunt and you dont know how nice it is to have your own room and to have a proper towel and yummy comfort food cooked for you! so am plannin to travel up to cairns over the next few weeks where the summer and hot weather is now! i have completely lost my tan that i had due to all the crap weather that was in south australia and victoria....sydney is pleasant but im still in jeans! email any major scandals that ive missed out on please and will talk to you all soon! alice xxx0 Comments 372 weeks

Just want to live there for a while so I will just get a job!! Need a break from the books! No not in Dublin, finished college and studying for the law society entrance exams at the mo....they are in three weeks! Can't wait for them to be over! In the library studyin nine till eleven every day so its pretty tedious! Thats eleven at night not the morn!! I wish! Two hours a day would be lovely! But not quite enough! Sounds like you love Leeds! I'v never been! Must go sometime!! How are all the family? xx
Ah lucky you goin skin!! Where are you going?? I'm studying for stupid law society exams at the mo!! Doom!! Heading to London in April tho for a couple of months so I'm looking forward to that!! Will you be in Leeds for much longer? Or are you planning on coming home at all?
