Me, Myself, and I
this...is me. My life has only just begun, but i have learned many things. One thing i know is that God's grace is sufficient for me. I had been running around letting other things pull me back from taking care of my spiritual walk with Christ. Sooner than later i found myself tuning out God's voice and putting the cares of this world ahead of my His. BUT..here's the catch. He took me back! I am so thankful that at medford special meetings He cornered me up and wonderfully saved me =]] i have amazing, supportive friends and family i couldn't ask for more. music is my escape, i listen to everything except rap cuzz eets [crap] ssh! a;slldkjro......my favs: theatre, gummi worms, the smell after it rains, rainbows, starbucks, running, skipping, brownies, christmas, singing in the car w/ the windows rolled down, bugging Caleb, twister!!, taking pics, tping...what??
rules of being a Carol
1. Chocolate is a food group
2. Singing in the car with the windows rolled down at the top of your lungs
3. Hum to background music
4. Whenever eating jellybeans you must close your eyes and try to guess what flavor it is
5. Baking is a sport [and must have several taste tests in the process] =P

    • CAMPMEETIN' BLESSINS' N' TESTIMONY!!!

      WOW! that last blog was just wacko...

      i'm going to try to write all the important things that happened this camp so far.

      1. I GOT MY BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST AND FIRE!!!

      all the rest is kinda boring besides the tons of blessings before that.
      several people got their baptism and reannointing.
      i am praying for all those who are seeking different experiences
      God knows your heart whether you like it or not!
      having faith in God is the most important thing to remember

      This year was the Apostolic Faith Church's one hundred year anniversary!
      there was a drama at the church about Florence Crawford's walk with the Lord as she endured several years of finding a church that preached the good old time religion! then they had the whole campground set up with displays of different churches and cultures, exhibits of church historical stuff and many other fascinating things...

      the sermons were very powerful... when i went to campmeeting i didn't really go expecting to get my baptism. i don't know why, i just felt like i tried so hard and i gave up! but the Lord is faithful and patient when you feel like you've tried everything but He alway's has it there for you in plain reach!!

      I'm so thankful for what He's done in my life! even when i was 5 years old i felt conviction in my heart. I had told i lie to my mom and was sent to my room (i cut my bangs almost to my scalp and told her my brother did it...haha but who hasn't??) God told me that it wasn't right that i was living that way. lol but i WASN'T completely sin free and perfect after that!!!! as i grew older and matured i had more knowledge of what was right and wrong... hehe i was a brat :D !! At the church's portland youth camp three years later Jesus Sanctified me. that's when the sin nature that you are born with is taken away and a new pure walk with the Lord begins. if you are living with just Salvation, there is much more for you to receive, God is gracious, he won't hold back anything if you seek diligently!!
      Then off and on i seeked for my Baptism for six years and have spent alot more time seeking the last couple years realizing how much i needed to reconsecrate my life as i was getting older. Then on July 8th, 2006 he Baptized me with his precious Holy Spirit at around 1:30 in the morning!!!! It has been wonderful!! a complete change in my walk with the Lord has occured! giving my testimony and sharing the gospel with people, even praying and reading the Bible is different and much much easier!! f.y.i. when you receive and claim the Holy Ghost and Fire... YOU WILL KNOW IT IN YOUR HEART!!! speaking in tongues is only for someone else to know that you got it, but it will happen!
