Hi folks,
So Saturday was my final day at the evil call centre. Due to the working visa here we only get 3 months at each company, so myself and all the other people I started with all finished last week. For reasons I don't actualy understand we decided that going out on Friday was a good plan so we all rolled up to work on Sat am having had about 3 hours sleep... where else could you do that and not worry about it? Anyway it's over and I now have a receptionist job at a the Australian finiancial watchdog, very exciting. Best part of the job so far is that we get access to the internet from here, yeah!
What else have I been up to? Went to my first Aussie Rules game a 2 saturdays ago, was fairly impressed with the buff arms and tiny shorts on display but other than that I don't think I get much of the sport. It was a sydney swans vs. Melbourne somethings and I thought it would be a bit like an Arsenal vs. Man Utd game in terms of atmosphere, sadly not quite but I've been told the end of season is better. Had fun driving the aussies I was with insane by constantly asking what was going on. Then people came back to our house and didn't leave until 3.30am so it was a good night!
Trying to plot my way up the coast now and trying to make a budget, so I can save money. Therefore will not be doing anything that costs money this month. Will let you know how it goes.

Hello all,
So I'm finally working out what this site is all about and hope that it'll be a good way to keep in touch, as you may have realised I'm rubbish at the emails.
But to be honest I've been very boring recently, working, looking for another job, not spending much money and mainly going down to the beach (because it's free!). I will try and work out how to get pic's on here so I can show you my beloved beach, I wish you could all pop over for a weekend because it's so lovely but being 1000's of miles away it's probably not going to happen. Sydney is a great city but I'm kinda itching to get back on the road again now, but need to save some more money first, will be here for another 2 months at least before probably heading up the east coast and if i can I really want to get across to the north west too as it's supossed to be amazing, we'll see how good I go with the flies/bugs/snakes etc before I make any plans to go off the beaten path.
Will try and have something exciting for next time!
