Hey there,

Mum and dad are up here in Derby visiting at the moment and we are having a good time. Yesterday, we went on a day trip to see the Windjana Gorges- saw rock formations and even some crocodiles and then went through a cave with an underground creek going through it....After a 750m hike we were able to swim in the cool natural pool at the end...very nice. Mum emabarrassed me though....My shirt was all dripping with sweat and she took it and got dad to start washing it in the river. the other 3 ladies asked me what they were doing and I had to say that my mum and dad were washing my shirt for me....very embarrassing!

The other exciting piece of news is that I played cricket in a teacher& student game and I scored a 6 off the 2nd last ball to win the match for my team....I was 35 not out so now kids are asking me all about cricket and I now have some school cred.

Will be going down to Broome for the weekend but apparently you can't swim in the beaches at the moment because of some venomous creatures ahnging around in there- sounds like my year 10 class!
