About Me

Me, Myself, and I
After graduating from WCHS I attended Wright State University for 2 years. Thinking that college wasn't really for me, I decided to drop out and I became a full-time production employee at Delphi. After about 4 years I worked my way into a first-line supervisor position. While I was at Delphi I decided to go back and finish my Bachelor's degree. I graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in Social & Industrial Communications and I then went on to graduate in 2005 with a Masters of Public Administration degree shortly after I left Delphi. After an 8 month internship with the City of Kettering, I decided that city government wasn't for me. I now operate The Cooney Insurance & Financial Services Agency located in Washington Township. I married my wife Britten in 1999 and we have 1 daughter named Corin that is 2 years old. I currently live in Miamisburg by the Sycamore Trails Pool. I now enjoy spending time with my family and I am very active in my church (Far Hills Community Church).

Dave Matthews Band, Nickelcreek, Phish, DC Talk, anything with good bass or drums.
Films
Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, any Adam Sandler or Chris Farley movies.
Sports
Nascar - Tony Stewart fan, Volleyball, Ohio State Football, Bengals (fairweather fan), Reds (fairweather fan), any extreme sports are cool!
Scared Of
Diets, Dumb People, most politicians, losing all my hair before I am 33!
Happiest When
Spending time with my family, playing drums/bass, spending time with friends. Eating (I am working on that one!)
