dissemination
how you view things can be very powerful.
I have just finished taking part in a weekend Gathering of some folk interested in or connected to Covenant Network Church, whom i work for three days a week (and more.)
In and amongst successes and lessons needing to be learned, do I
a) view the weekend as a raging success, knowing it all went perfectly and, wow! we forge on from here
b)view the weekend as a raging disaster and WOE! give up ho[pe of things growing, fulfilling God's plans and purposes in amazing ways, or
c) Praise God for amazing work he IS doing, and recognise we need to, at the same time, learn from area's we could do better, in both cases apealing to the Lord in prayer and praise?
I think c. and i reckon that goes for a lot in life. God's perspective is VERY perceptive. He sees through hollow, empty praise OR discouragement, choosing instead to delight in what we allowed him to do, trying to help us see and ammend what we didn't allow him to do...

so much to do
well, i have a million things to do. I know i won't do them all. Why do any at all? that's just defeatest. But why do one thing before another? I tend to roll from one thing into the next. from activity into inactivity, from tele into work, from work to lunch. I don't always put much thought into why one thing or another. THERE YOU GO!!
But i have one life, and i don't want to waste it. I want to be wholehearted, and totally un regretful in all i do. thank God for him, his mercy and forgiveness - his help to live right, his love in my life.
better get on with things - got a long list before this weekend, the Covenant Gathering...BRING IT ON!!!! come on God, take over - please!0 Comments 347 weeks

down in the valley
you know what, life is not simple and easy. What a mess things can become at times. Like now for example. I won't go into why - its personal - but I can say i wish the devil did not intefere in my life. Maybe I am allowing him the space to get active - there's a 'not very' comforting thought - that maybe it's a simple case of: it's up to me for things to improve. Enough vageries for now. Suffice it to say (one of my favourite sayings) things will improve with God's help alone - as ever.
