  • Spring has Sprung

    I guess spring is here, it rained, lighteninged, however you spell that, and thundered.
    So i guess its time to get ready for nice weather right,
    tomorrow is my "melvin's" birthday. he will be 14, holy buckets, i cannot beleive it, he is still my little boy in my eyes.
    Even though I cannot be with him in person everyday, he is with me in my heart and I am always thinking of him.

    I know your not here to share this special day with us anymore but I still remember you like you never left and I will always hold your birthday special in my heart.
    I know losing someone so close hurts like hell but the "special" days are the hardest.
    So I think of you and all the memories you gave me all the laughs, the tears we shared, how we got over "sharing the crackers" that still makes me smile.
    I think of the beautiful daughters that are missing their mother today and I wonder if that is why the pain is so intense, I dont know why saying your name can bring such heartache still but I want to let you know I love you like you never left and I am happy in knowing there will be a day when we will see each other again.
    Happy Birthday my cousin, until we meet again, come spread some cheer as we toast you with a "green beer" love you lots

  • Where did Summer Go?

    Wow, Summer is already over, I feel like I didn't even get too enjoy it.
    Isn't it funny how time flies. tomorrow my only daughter will be 18, holy crap, that makes me feel old. lol
    Happy Birthday Mary Grace.
    I know kids think turning 18 is a great event and I guess it is to some extent, well back when we used to get a per cap it was. lol
    Anyways, now its not that big of a thing to me, but I wish her all the best her life has to offer. There is so much out there that I hope she really reaches for the stars and tries hard to accomplish her dreams. It too, me a long time to realize no one does it for you, I hope it don't take her as long . LOL

      Hi I have to admit it was nice to get to see all my friends up there, but I did get a bit home sick. I loved our visits they were worth it. I will visit again when I have a car.
